We are particularly skilled at working with our clients at an early stage to identify their future needs, and then developing the brief and the design together. We are interested in approaching each design opportunity from first principles in a rigorously rational manner, understanding the practical issues, maximising the use of natural materials and daylight, building at a human scale and encouraging a growing environmental awareness.
We concentrate on making places and spaces rather than just designing buildings. We seek the inherent qualities of any site and context and enjoy the contemporary and forward looking whilst respecting the qualities of all that is good from the past.
